Position Overview
The student graphic designer will assist the creative director to produce print and digital marketing and promotional campaign materials, with additional web design, coding, and site updates assigned as needed. Duties will include:
- Creating print and digital ads (including editing or creating video clips for social media), flyers, Power Points, web images, and other design projects.
- Assisting with website maintenance, such as basic CSS, HTML, and PHP updates or content tweaks as needed.
Office duties may also be assigned, as needed. The ideal candidate will possess a strong ability to multitask, strong communication skills, and can demonstrate accountability.
80% — Graphic Design & Content Creation:- Designing print and digital marketing materials, editing and resizing images, and creating web graphics using InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
- Assisting with Word Press updates, web page tweaks, and light HTML/CSS/PHP coding adjustments as needed.
- General office duties and project coordination as assigned, like printing and folding
(Exceptions granted for GRA/GTA/GA appointments DO NOT apply to Student Hourly appointments).
Student employees are not eligible for remote work arrangements unless an exception is approved by the unit leadership and HR.
