Base pay $23-33 per hour plus applicable shift differentials and full benefits. Sign-on bonus $2,500.

A large and growing hospital in Lawrence, KS is currently seeking an experienced full-time Licensed Practical Nurse LPN to join their Med/Surg team! Check out the details below.

• Participates in the collection of patient data
• Collaborates with care team members to develop patient/family plan of care and prioritize strategies when needed
• Implements orders, within scope of practice, for patient/family plan of care
• Documents and communicates actions to maintain continuity among the patient care team
• Complies with procedures, regulations and rules in maintaining medical records
• Provides direct patient contact while delivering quality care, administers medications/treatments, and observes documents patient responses
• Evaluates patient progress toward identified outcomes
• Performs nursing care according to the population served on the unit as referenced in the Administrative, Scope of Services Policy

• Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse program
• New graduates welcome to apply
• IV certification strongly preferred (required)
• Current or ability to obtain a Licensed Practical Nurse license to practice in Kansas
