Quality Technical Specialist

Hallmark works in a fast‑paced, 3‑shift manufacturing environment at the Lawrence Production Center, producing greeting cards and specialty products. The Quality Technical Specialist (QTS) provides quality expertise to support end‑to‑end SKU level execution for Hallmark’s Greeting Cards and GPPE products.

The QTS protects the Hallmark brand by addressing and resolving product quality issues, including non‑conformance to specifications such as SMART design, color reproduction, print and manufacturing. The role integrates technical skills, manufacturing and materials knowledge, and practical experience to ensure high‑quality Greetings/GPPE products for the marketplace.

The QTS also collaborates with production center leadership on the execution of the Employee Own Quality System, problem‑solving quality issues, quality process improvement, and analysis of quality metrics to drive results.

• Bachelor's Degree OR 4 years of experience in a manufacturing or quality role
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a supply chain, product development, product quality or creative technical role.

• Previous experience in a quality/product integrity role
• PLM knowledge
• Design for manufacturing experience
• Deep understanding of secondary processes, palettes and process constraints
• Strong knowledge of card materials and components
• Card format experience
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

This position is located in Lawrence, Kansas. Relocation is not provided.
