Job Summary

Conducts analyses and inspections of raw and packaged materials, executes quantitative and qualitative assays, and ensures adherence to quality standards and regulatory compliance for manufactured products.

Salary: $39,083–$54,829. Final pay determinations will depend on experience level, education, skills, knowledge, and abilities.

• Perform analyses, inspections, and tests of raw materials, packaging materials, and quantitative assays on samples and finished products from manufacturing to ensure quality standards and regulatory compliance and tolerance specifications for chemical or physical properties.
• Perform qualitative tests or assays on samples to aid in maintenance and certification of test instruments and apparatus to ensure compliance.
• Conduct required inspections, checks, analysis, and documentation of studies.
• Prepare and monitor quality statistics and reports.
• Review production records for conformance to procedures.
• Evaluate non-conforming results and initiate re-sampling, re-testing, and/or hold procedures.
