Assistant Researcher – University of Kansas

The University of Kansas is seeking a post‑baccalaureate Research Assistant (title: Assistant Researcher) to support day‑to‑day research project and administrative operations at the Cofrin Logan Center for Addiction Research and Treatment. This position offers excellent professional development opportunities, particularly for candidates seeking to expand an existing base of research experience and pursue future graduate training. The candidate must live or be willing to relocate to Lawrence, KS.

Responsibilities
  • Recruit, screen, enroll, and collect data from research participants.
  • Manage lab databases and clean and analyze project data.
  • Assist in preparing manuscripts for journal article publication.
  • Prepare and distribute promotional materials for Cofrin Logan Center events.
  • Coordinate and prepare documents for faculty and staff hires.
  • Oversee and train research and administrative support staff (additional duties may be performed).
Qualifications
  • Post‑baccalaureate education (bachelor’s degree or higher).
  • Appropriate authorization to work in the U.S. before employment begins.
