Senior Director of Financial Reporting & Performance Metrics
Full-Time, On-Site/In-Office Salary $90,000

We are seeking a Senior Director of Financial Reporting & Performance Metrics to lead financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, KPI development, and financial process improvement for our growing organization.

In this high-impact leadership role, you'll partner closely with executive leadership to develop financial insights, improve reporting systems, leverage AI and finance technology, and help shape organizational strategy through data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead organizational budgeting, financial forecasting, and long-term financial projections.
- Develop, monitor, and report key financial and workforce performance metrics (KPIs).
- Analyze financial trends and provide actionable recommendations to executive leadership.
- Prepare and maintain weekly and monthly cash flow forecasts.
- Leverage finance technology, AI tools, and accounting software to improve operational efficiency.
- Identify accounting process improvements and implement best practices across the organization.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop members of the accounting team.
- Collaborate with department leaders to provide budget guidance and financial support.
- Support grant management and financial oversight for organizational initiatives.
- Ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance in all financial reporting.
Qualifications:
- Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting or financial management experience.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
- Experience preparing financial statements and managing month-end close processes.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
- Preferred:
- Leadership or supervisory experience.
- Experience in nonprofit accounting, grant accounting, healthcare, or human services.
- Experience with Intacct Accounting Software.
- Experience using Power BI, Google Data Studio, or other business intelligence tools.
- Ability to quickly learn emerging finance technologies and AI applications.
