Strategic Account Manager – Vaccine
LocationScranton, PA / Remote, US
About the JobLead and manage strategic accounts within the vaccine business, serving major health systems, integrated health networks, medical groups, and state awardees. Build and execute account plans, cultivate trust-based relationships, and drive revenue and value co‑creation for Sanofi.
Main Responsibilities- Assume overall account leadership for assigned strategic customers, develop account strategy and plans, and coordinate internal resources to achieve revenue targets.
- Build and grow trust‑based relationships with external stakeholders, understand customer business drivers and challenges, and maintain knowledge of the healthcare environment.
- Identify and qualify high‑value opportunities, conduct business coaching and strategy sessions with account teams, and serve as the central focal point for account planning, strategy, and engagement.
Strategic thinker with strong business acumen, excellent communication skills, and the ability to adapt in a dynamic environment.
Minimum Required Skills & Experience- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 5+ years of field sales or account management experience.
- Broad understanding of health‑system business, decision‑making processes, and market trends, with proven ability to engage C‑Suite to D‑Suite decision makers.
- Ability to translate market knowledge into strategic plans with internal stakeholders.
- Strong execution, prioritization, and project management skills.
- Experience working with P&T committees, decision makers, and influencers in hospitals and large‑organized customers.
- Strategic thinking and strong business acumen.
- Self‑directed, organized, and an excellent communicator.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to safely operate a vehicle.
- MBA or other advanced degree.
- Strong data analytics skills.
- Experience in Market Access, Pricing, Contracting, or Finance.
- Proficiency with MS Office and customer‑management databases.
- Demonstrated impact and influence with key internal stakeholders.
Ability to travel up to 75% of the time to customers, conventions, training, and internal meetings.
