Industrial Maintenance Technician
This role is responsible for performing a wide range of technical duties related to mechanical and electrical systems, preventive maintenance, and basic fabrication in an industrial production environment. You will troubleshoot and repair equipment, support fabrication and assembly activities, and help ensure that production operations run safely, efficiently, and with minimal downtime.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot equipment issues in a production environment to minimize downtime and maintain consistent operations.
- Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical components on industrial machinery and systems.
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks on production and facility equipment to prevent unplanned failures.
- Carry out basic fabrication, assembly, welding, burning, cutting, pipe fitting, and machining tasks as needed to support maintenance and production.
- Work effectively from oral and written instructions, including work orders, maintenance procedures, and technical directions.
- Understand and comply with all parts ordering and issuing procedures to ensure accurate inventory control and timely repairs.
- Maintain adherence to company policies, safety standards, and good housekeeping practices at all times.
- Perform simple equipment failure diagnosis and complete basic repairs to restore operation.
- Support the maintenance team with additional duties as assigned by the supervisor to meet operational needs.
Essential Skills
- Hands-on experience as an industrial maintenance technician or in a similar maintenance role in a production or industrial environment.
- Strong mechanical skills, including the ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical components and assemblies.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including experience with three-phase power (3 phase).
- Knowledge of hydraulic systems and the ability to diagnose and repair hydraulic components.
- Knowledge of pneumatic systems and the ability to troubleshoot and repair pneumatic components.
- Experience performing preventive maintenance on industrial equipment.
- Ability to read and work from blueprints or technical drawings.
- Basic PLC troubleshooting skills to assist in identifying control-related equipment issues.

Work Environment
You will work in a production facility as part of a small maintenance team, focusing on a weekend day shift schedule from 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The environment involves regular interaction with industrial machinery and systems, including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment. Work may require climbing ladders, using scaffolding and scissor lifts, and spending extended periods walking throughout the facility.
The setting emphasizes safety, adherence to procedures, and good housekeeping, with a practical, hands-on atmosphere centered on keeping equipment running efficiently.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $62400.00/yr.
