Brief Description

The Field Maintenance Technician travels to drilling rig field locations to perform a variety of equipment service and maintenance activities. Activities include servicing, repairing, adjusting, inspecting and testing equipment, documenting equipment condition and maintenance activities. Additional duties include training and mentoring crew on operational level maintenance, coordinating maintenance related projects on rigs, and providing appropriate feedback to the job site manager and maintenance management team.

Aspartofour Field Maintenance crew ,you’lltravel todrillingrigfieldlocations toperformessential equipment service and maintenance tasks. Your responsibilities will include:

• Servicing,Repairing,and Adjusting

  Rigorous testingensuressafety and reliability.

• Planappropriatelytodriveextended distancestoritlocationsandperformmaintenance duties
• Provide various levels of support and training to operational crews in preventative maintenance checksandservices,includinghowtoproperlyconduct basicandintermediate repairs
• Diagnostic knowledge(basic toadvanced) of mechanical,hydraulic,orelectricalfaults and plan coordination for the repair of the system(s)
• Demonstrate knowledge(basictoadvanced) inperformingandaccuratelydocumentingthe findings of technical level inspections on the Top Drive, Mud Pump, Iron Roughneck, Catwalk, Engines and/or electrical/VFD inspections
• Variouslevelsofparticipationinmaintenancerelated projectsontherigwiththerigcrewor 3rd party support
• Developandmonitor spareandreplacementpartslistingforspecificequipment
• Completevariouslevels ofrepairsidentifiedduringthetechnical level inspections
• Perform variouslevelsoftroubleshooting and problem-solvingonassignedequipmentand assets
• Providevariouslevelsofassistancetooperationsindesignated Maintenance/Policy implementation
• Variouslevelsofknowledgeandexperiencerepairingmultipletypesofoilfielddrilling equipment and systems, or related equipment

• Abilitytosafelynavigatedrilling rigworksiteswithoccasionalwalking,climbing,standing, stepping,etc.during normal rigoperatingconditions(day/night,outdoor hot/cold weather)
• Abilitytotravel tovisitdrilling rig worksites andsupportbusiness units;requiring extended travel to remote locations and/or overnight stay(s) outside normal office area
• Abilitytoworkarotationalschedulethatcanincludedaysornights aswellasweekends, holidays, and be on call after hours
• Liftandcarry
