P1 Construction is seeking a Software Engineer Intern for Summer 2026 in our Lawrence, Kansas office. Interns are paid P1 employees This is not a remote position; this is an in-office position requiring daily commuting to our Lawrence, KS office during the term of the internship. Candidates must reside in the Kansas City metro area. This position is not eligible for relocation assistance or housing support.

* Challenge the status quo:
Develop applications that improve and streamline internal processes using modern AI-assisted development workflows. We want your fresh perspective on problems we've been solving the same way for years.
* Choose your focus based on your experience:
* Web Application Track:
* Build web applications using Cursor as the primary development environment with JavaScript, React, Node.js, and Postgre

SQL on Microsoft Azure.
* Design and implement custom Power BI dashboards to visualize business data in new ways.
* C# Development Track:
* Contribute to C# projects in Visual Studio using Claude AI for code generation and problem-solving to build custom plugins for Revit design software.
* Bring AI ideas to the table:

* High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
* Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Computer Science or closely related technical field.
* Must have at least one full college semester remaining after the internship concludes in August 2026 (graduating December 2026 or later).
* Students graduating college in May 2026 or who have already graduated are not eligible.
