• Operate a vehicle/van safely and efficiently. Follow specific regularly scheduled routes, charter routes or respond to requests from the Transportation Coordinator, dispatch or management for unscheduled pick ups or drop offs.
• Assist passengers in boarding and exiting vehicle. Load and unload luggage, packages and other items.
• Report any vehicle accidents or other safety situations to the dispatch center immediately.
• Inspect exterior and interior of vehicle at beginning of each shift for properly operating headlights, turn signals, brake lights, interior courtesy lamps, check fluids, air-conditioning or heating, warning lamps, mirror adjustment, properly inflated tires, windshield wipers, vehicle damage, etc. before moving vehicle.
• Ensure inside and outside of vehicle are properly cleaned and fueled on an ongoing basis. Keep interior of vehicle neat and orderly.
• Monitor vehicle condition and record malfunctioning items or damage and notify dispatch center to have a work order submitted.
• Accurately complete driver trip sheet for each shift with information including driver’s name, vehicle number, number of passengers, pick up and drop off times, mileages, fares, destinations, etc. Record passenger name and university r.
• Customer service skills that respectfully communicate with passengers in a courteous, friendly and professional manner.
• Perform all other related duties as assigned.

This is a Temporary position. The pay rate is $15/hour.

• Must be 21 years of age or older and meet university requirements for driving a university vehicle.
• Must possess a valid Driver’s License (CDL License preferred) with no convictions or at-fault accidents, DWAI, DWI, or DUI convictions within the last year.
• Work experience in a driving or related position preferred.

• Prior professional driving experience.

$15.50/hr.
