Warehouse Supervisor

We are seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to join our team.

Bowmar Sports is seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee and coordinate daily activities for a 30,000 sq. foot warehouse. Duties include, but are not limited to, managing all warehouse operations and staff, ensuring safety and cleanliness standards, maintenance, inventory, stocking, and repairs.

• Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in receiving, identifying, and assuring quality/accuracy of goods shipped out
• Measure and report the effectiveness of warehousing activities and employees’ performance
• Organize and maintain inventory and storage area
• Ensure shipments and inventory transactions accuracy
• Train, guide, and evaluate warehouse staff
• Determine staffing levels and assign workload
• Maintain items record, document necessary information, and utilize reports to project warehouse status
• Identify areas needing improvement and establish/adjust existing work procedures and practices
• Call for dumpster removal and replacement if needed
• Ability to interview/hire new staff or terminate staff as needed

• Prior experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or similar applicable role
• Strong leader with the ability to delegate
• Highly effective supervisory skills and techniques
• MS Office proficiency and knowledge of/ability to learn warehouse software packages
• Ability to input, retrieve and analyze data
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to direct and coordinate operations
• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Frequent lifting from 5-40 lbs, unassisted
• Occasional lifting from 41 lbs+, assisted
• Access and mobility in tight spaces
• Sustained periods of standing, sitting, walking, bending, and kneeling
