Basic Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent with one year of related experience.
- Sensitive security clearance required to start work
- One year of inventory management
- Forklift operation experience
- Ability to obtain and maintain forklift license
- Ability to work with computers
- Ability to be on feet 8 hours a day
- Heavy work exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects
- Physical activity may include climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, fingering, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing and repetitive motion
- Required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as viewing a computer terminal, visual inspection involving small defects, small parts

Peraton is seeking a Parts Issue Supply Clerk to join our team of diverse, qualified individuals. The Parts Issue Supply works at the United States Postal Service (USPS) Central Repair Facility (CRF) in Topeka, KS. The CRF is a depot repair facility for USPS mail processing, delivery, and bulk mail systems repairable parts. Examples: repairing printed circuit boards, electrical, electronic, mechanical and electro‑mechanical assemblies to component level.
The CRF provides depot level maintenance for essential automation, mechanization, retail and bulk mail processing systems used in all mail processing and retail installations.
The Parts Issue Supply Clerk maintains, inventories, and issues all stockroom parts, supplies, and end items, including cycle counts and preservation of customer property. Performs supply functions such as binning, conducting inventories, pulling for issue, and issuing piece parts, supplies, and end items. Maintains all stockroom parts and end items at levels appropriate to supply all technician requirements, issues those parts in a timely fashion upon request, restocks bins as spares are received, and maintains inventory records and data on all stocked items, tools, and equipment.
Dutiesinclude
- Locating items as received in proper storage locations, maintaining stocks on hand, participating in cyclic and special inventories as required, re‑warehousing, receiving requirements and pulling correct items from stock for issue, issuing items to requestors
- Maintaining records for parts, materials, and equipment Updating computers with receipt information
- Operating forklifts
- Performing other related duties as assigned
