So what does an Audit Staff at Sansiveri do?

As an Assurance Department member, you will be responsible for working closely with other team members on a full range of assurance services including audits, reviews, and compilations of financial statements for companies in a variety of industries. You will work closely with Seniors, Supervisors, Managers, and Partners to ensure that client needs are met with the highest level of professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide a full range of professional accounting and auditing services including financial statement audits, reviews, and compilations to companies in a variety of industries.
• Review and verification of bank balances, examinations of fixed assets, inventory, prepaids, accruals, etc.
• Preparation of a complete set of financial statements including drafting of footnotes and supplemental schedules.
• Working in a team environment, build relationships with peers, supervisors, and client personnel while handling and prioritizing multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Document and communicate any accounting and auditing matters that arise during engagements to the management team.
• Serve as a client point of contact in addition to Supervisors, Managers, and Partners.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1+ years’ public accounting audit, review, and compilation experience.
• Understanding of U.S. GAAP and professional standards including U.S. GAAS and SARS.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting required. CPA (or in progress) preferred.
• Preference will be given to those applicants meeting the 150-credit hour requirement for CPA eligibility.
• Excellent technical, research, problem solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple client projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
• Consistent desire to professionally improve and to be promoted based on the delivery of excellent work product.
