Cost Recovery Analyst

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Cost Recovery Analyst to support a team responsible for recovering costs related to damage to telecommunications infrastructure. This role will investigate damage claims, research service tickets, gather supporting documentation, determine liability, and assist with accurate invoicing and collections.

The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, and an excellent communicator, with a strong attention to detail and accuracy. Responsibilities include researching damage incidents, coordinating with internal teams and locators, obtaining police reports and other documentation, preparing claim and recovery packages, tracking invoices and receivables, and assisting with dispute resolution.

• Research and document damage to aerial and underground infrastructure.
• Review tickets and notify appropriate teams within required time frames.
• Gather police reports, claims documentation, photos, and other supporting evidence.
• Assist with liability determinations and cost recovery calculations.
• Prepare and track accurate invoices and recovery claims.
• Communicate professionally with internal teams, responsible parties, insurers, and other stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate records and meet established deadlines and performance goals.

• Strong organizational and administrative skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Clear written and verbal communication.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Smartsheet.
• Experience with Dig Safe, Utilisphere, or Modular Workflow is a plus.
• Stable work history and demonstrated dependability.
• Must be able to work onsite 5 days/wk
