KBW Financial Staffing & Recruiting has partnered with an organization in the Lawrence, MA that is seeking a Purchasing Assistant to support its purchasing department. This position will provide purchasing and administrative support, process purchase orders, coordinate with vendors and internal departments, assist with receiving, and ensure accurate transaction processing.

• Process purchase requisitions and purchase orders for recurring maintenance, paper supplies, and other operational needs
• Provide administrative support to the Purchasing Manager
• Enter purchasing transactions accurately and timely
• Monitor order trackers and ensure goods receipts are entered promptly
• Post receipt of goods transactions
• Communicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve order discrepancies
• Partner with the Accounts Payable team to ensure invoices and vendor statements remain current
• Assist with additional purchasing and administrative duties as assigned

• 1+ year of accounts payable, purchasing, or related clerical experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Professional communication skills and ability to work collaboratively

Compensation is up to $25/hr DOE.
