Responsibilities- Assist in planning, coordinating, and overseeing daily construction activities.
- Interpret and implement project drawings, specifications, and contracts in the field.
- Monitor project progress, ensuring compliance with design documents, building codes, and safety regulations.
- Support project scheduling, material procurement, and subcontractor coordination.
- Prepare and maintain field reports, daily logs, RFIs, submittals, and other project documentation.
- Perform site inspections and quality control checks to verify work meets standards.
- Provide technical support to crews and resolve field issues as they arise.
- Assist with cost control, quantity takeoffs, and change order documentation.
- Collaborate with surveyors, engineers, and architects to ensure accuracy of layout and construction.
- Promote and enforce safety policies and procedures on-site.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 1–3 years of field engineering or construction experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and standards.
- Proficiency with construction management software (Procore, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, etc.) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
- OSHA certification or safety training a plus.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Regularly required to walk, climb, and stand on active job sites.
- May involve extended hours and weekend work depending on project needs.
