Leading General Contractor in Massachusetts seeks a General Superintendent. Salary $160,000–$190,000 per year plus bonus and benefits.
Position SummaryFull‑time leader assigned to manage multiple heavy‑civil construction projects throughout northern Massachusetts. Responsibilities include project oversight, scheduling, budgeting, and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee daily operations of heavy civil construction sites (site work, asphalt, paving, road building, demolition, full‑scope concrete, earth moving, utility projects).
- Develop and manage project timelines as the prime contractor, ensuring schedules are met.
- Lead and motivate project teams, ensuring high productivity and safety compliance.
- Identify and implement improvements to existing processes, driving operational efficiency.
- Prepare written project plans, reports, and documentation.
- 10+ years supervisory experience in heavy civil construction (site work, asphalt, paving, road building, demolition, concrete, earth moving, or utility projects).
- Track record of leading projects as a prime contractor with experience in creating timelines.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and initiative to drive improvements.
- Excellent communication and team‑leadership abilities.
