: $825 - $975 per credit, based on adjunct faculty rank (determined by education and experience)

Overview:

NHTI – Concord’s Community College is seeking passionate and skilled educators to join our Adjunct Faculty Talent Pool in College Composition
. This is an exciting opportunity to help students develop essential writing, critical thinking, and communication skills that will serve them throughout their academic and professional careers.

As part of this talent pool, you’ll have the chance to engage students in meaningful discussions, refine their writing abilities, and foster a love for effective communication

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education
    :
    Master’s degree in English, Composition or a relevant field.
  • Experience
    :
    At least two years of teaching experience at the college level, preferably in an undergraduate writing course.
  • Desired qualifications
    :
    Excellent communication skills, Familiarity with Canvas (or similar LMS), ability to teach other courses in Communications or Literature.
  • Residency
    :
    Must reside in NH, VT, ME, MA, RI, or CT.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Course Delivery
    :
    Provide instruction using curricula aligned with department and program standards.
  • Student Engagement
    :
    Foster active learning through discussions, assignments, and assessments.
  • Assessment & Feedback
    :
    Evaluate student performance, provide feedback, and maintain accurate records of student progress.
  • Professional Development
    :
    Stay current in your field and adhere to institutional policies and guidelines.
