Position Summary:

Lawrence Early Family ED is seeking exceptional STEM teachers to join our team who possess a growth mindset, value collaboration and continuous feedback, are passionate about their content, and have an unwavering belief that all students are capable of meeting rigorous academic expectations.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

* Develop and implement hands-on, inquiry-based STEM lessons aligned with Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks

* Use data to drive instruction, monitor student progress, and adjust teaching strategies as needed

* Integrate technology and real-world applications to deepen student understanding and engagement

* Create a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment for all students

* Collaborate with colleagues to align curriculum and share best instructional practices

* Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of learners, including English Language Learners and students with disabilities

* Communicate regularly and effectively with students' families to support academic and behavioral goals

* Participate in professional development and school-wide initiatives to improve student outcomes

* Maintain accurate records of student performance and progress

* Support school culture and expectations, including routines, norms, and behavior systems

* Attend and contribute to grade-level, content-area, and school-wide meetings

* Perform other duties as assigned by the school leader

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

* Strong content knowledge in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics

* Familiarity with project-based learning and STEM integration across content areas

* Effective classroom management strategies that support a positive learning environment

* Commitment to culturally responsive teaching and equity in education

* Ability to analyze student data and use it to improve instruction

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

* Willingness to collaborate with colleagues and participate in reflective practices

* Technological proficiency to enhance instruction and learning outcomes

* Passion for urban education and belief in the potential of all students

Qualifications & Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in a STEM-related field required;
Master's degree preferred

* Valid Massachusetts teaching license in Elementary or Middle School with appropriate STEM content certification

* SEI endorsement required

* Minimum of one year of successful teaching experience preferred

* Bilingual candidates strongly encouraged to apply

* Ability to pass a CORI/SORI and fingerprint-based background check
