Parthum Middle School is seeking exceptional paraprofessionals to join our team who possess a growth mindset, value collaboration and continuous feedback, are passionate about their content, and have an unwavering belief that all students are capable of meeting rigorous academic expectations.

Role

Summary:

The role of the paraprofessional in the classroom is to work under the supervision of a professional service provider to directly or indirectly assist and support in providing services to students in the classroom. The role and assignments of a paraprofessional are not defined by a particular student, setting, or program but rather by students' needs.

Description of Paraprofessional Duties:
The duties of the paraprofessional may vary based on specific assignments. Duties may also change at any time based on administration or teacher reexamination of student or program needs.

Proven experience supporting English Language Learners

Demonstrated capacity to create and maintain a positive learning environment in which students' diverse backgrounds, identities, strengths, and challenges are respected and utilized.

Will to improve practice by taking and implementing frequent feedback

Humility and a good sense of humor

Qualifications:

* Associate Degree + or completion of Para Pro exam.
