History Teacher – UNIDOS Academy, Full‑time
Position SummaryAs the History Teacher, you will lead U.S. and World History classes and serve as an advisor. We are looking for an educator who learns, teaches, and approaches the world's complexities from multiple perspectives—and who is passionate about helping students learn history like historians. You will have the opportunity to support some of the most resilient students on their pathway to graduation and beyond within a small setting.

- Ability to take initiative and thrive in a fast-paced environment, remaining calm and focused when faced with challenges
- Desire to continuously improve your practice by receiving and implementing feedback
- Capacity to create and maintain a positive learning environment that respects and utilizes students' diverse backgrounds, identities, strengths, and challenges
- Bachelor's degree required;
Master's degree preferred - Valid Massachusetts teaching license in History or ability to obtain required licensure
- Current authorization to work in the United States
