Arlington Elementary School seeks a Grade 3 teacher for the 2026‑2027 school year. The ideal candidate believes all students can learn and has experience with co‑teaching, inclusion practices, and collaborative planning.

• Knowledge of early childhood development and best instructional practices
• Teaching core content in a self‑contained classroom/homeroom: ELA (CKLA), Mathematics (Envision), Science, and Social Studies
• Strong classroom management and organizational skills
• Ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in instructional technology
• Cultural competency and commitment to serving a diverse student population
• Collaboration with colleagues, families, and support staff
• Reflection on practice and implementation of feedback
• Attending IEP, 504, student support, and team meetings
• Participating in grade‑level and content vertical planning meetings
• Engaging in school‑wide positive behavior support protocols

• Experience collaborating with social service agencies
• Strong facilitation and communication skills
• Proficient in English; bilingual candidates preferred

• Bachelor's degree required;
  Master's degree preferred
• Valid Massachusetts DESE teaching license
• SEI (Sheltered English Immersion) endorsement required
• Experience teaching in urban public school settings preferred
• Successful completion of all pre‑employment requirements
• U.S. citizenship, residency, or valid work authorization required

$61,788 – $94,614
