Camp Ramah in the Berkshires is a vibrant summer camp community, where children grow in a safe, beautiful setting, surrounded by lifelong friends and guided by spirited role models. Rosh Omanut/Arts & Crafts Director oversees all creative programming at camp, including ceramics, woodworking, painting, mixed media, and other visual arts activities. This leadership role involves planning, coordinating, and supervising arts staff, ensuring a safe, inclusive, and inspiring environment for campers to explore their creativity. The Director works closely with program staff to integrate arts into the broader camp experience.
Summer Dates:
June 17 – August 14, 2026
- Lead, develop, and oversee the camp’s arts and crafts curriculum
- Supervise and mentor Arts & Crafts Educators
- Plan and organize daily and special arts activities for all camper age groups
- Collaborate with program staff to integrate arts into camp-wide programs
- Bring new ideas and innovations to expand the arts curriculum
- Foster a positive, creative, and inclusive environment
- $3,000-$6500 based on experience and role
- Room and board provided while in residence at Camp

RequirementsQualifications:
- Experience leading arts programs or teaching visual arts, crafts, or related fields
- Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills
- Creative, flexible, and able to adapt projects to different ages and skill levels
- Experience supervising staff and mentoring young educators preferred
- Team player with enthusiasm for Jewish camp culture and values
- Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors
