Training Technician

This is an Air Reserve Technician (ART) position. ARTs are part of the regular career civil service and enjoy all the benefits granted to Federal employees in the competitive civil service.

The primary purpose of this position is:
This is an Air Reserve Technician (ART) position. The primary purpose of the position is to serve as Chief, Education and Training Section, and in this capacity provides technical guidance and assistance to managers and supervisors within the organization on all aspects of education and training programs. In addition, trains reservists in the accomplishment of the tasks set forth herein.

Supervisory duties are performed at less than 25 percent. Duties: 1:
Plans, directs, controls, and oversees all elements of the Education, Training and Distance Learning Programs. Performs personnel supervisory/management responsibilities. 2:
Plans and directs activities in accomplishment of education services program. Conducts staff visits and trains personnel. Ensures accuracy of Personnel Data System and performs functional review of data reliability.

3:
Provides Education and Training advisory services to commanders and staff on all education and training programs. 4:
Periodically inspects activities pertaining to Education and Training for compliance with policies and instructions.

An accrediting institution recognized by the U.S.

EDUCATION:

Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program. It is your responsibility to provide such evidence when applying.

This position is with Headquarters, Air Force Reserve Command, Department of the Air Force.

The posted pay range is $84260 – $109545/yr.

This position is eligible for telework.

This position requires a Secret security clearance.
