Equipment Technician
We are seeking an experienced Equipment Technician to join our wafer fabrication team in Lawrence, MA. The Equipment Technician will be responsible for:
- Performing the installation, modification, upgrade and maintenance of manufacturing equipment.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues, utilizing technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic tools.
- Maintaining current records on equipment manufacturers' technical notices, upgrades and safety issues.
- Studying equipment performance and reliability.
- Establishing programs and solutions for increasing uptime and for equipment problems that affect the manufacturing process.
- Providing technical support to the production operators and process engineering organizations.
- Defining and writing preventative maintenance schedules.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and cleanroom procedures.
Requirements/
Qualifications:
- Technical or Military training in Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience in a related field.
- 10+ years of relevant equipment maintenance and repair experience, semiconductor manufacturing equipment preferred.
- Ability to interpret electrical and electronic schematics, mechanical drawings, piping diagrams, and flow charts.
- Experience in component level troubleshooting of analog and digital circuits.
- Experience soldering and desoldering components on printed circuit boards.
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing cable harnesses.
- Ability to test and evaluate the condition of electrical components such as transistors, diodes, resistors and capacitors with an analog or digital multimeter.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to equipment safety and performance.

Pay Range:
The hourly pay range for this position, which could be performed in the US, is $24.52-$53.85.*
* Range is dependent on numerous factors including job location, skills and experience.
