Senior Technician II-Equipment

Position:
Equipment Technician – Wafer Fabrication (Lawrence, MA)

• Perform the installation, modification, upgrade, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues using technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic tools.
• Maintain current records on equipment manufacturers’ technical notices, upgrades, and safety issues.
• Study equipment performance and reliability.
• Establish programs and solutions for increasing uptime and resolving equipment problems that affect the manufacturing process.
• Provide technical support to production operators and process engineering organizations.
• Define and write preventative maintenance schedules.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and cleanroom procedures.

• Technical or Military training in Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 10+ years of relevant equipment maintenance and repair experience; semiconductor manufacturing equipment preferred.
• Ability to interpret electrical and electronic schematics, mechanical drawings, piping diagrams, and flow charts.
• Experience in component‑level troubleshooting of analog and digital circuits.
• Experience soldering and desoldering components on printed circuit boards.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing cable harnesses.
• Ability to test and evaluate the condition of electrical components (transistors, diodes, resistors, capacitors) with a multimeter.
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to equipment safety and performance.

• Base pay ranges from $24.52 to $53.85 per hour, depending on location, skills, and experience.
