We are looking for a high-impact Applications Engineer who wants more than a desk job. This is a visible, customer-facing engineering role where your technical expertise directly influences revenue, customer loyalty, and product innovation.

What You Will Own.- Technical Leadership in the Field – Serve as the primary technical authority for customers, distributors, and the sales team. Identify application challenges early and position engineered thermoplastic solutions ahead of competitors. Conduct high-level technical presentations and training sessions that build confidence and close opportunities.
- Engineered Solutions That Win Business – Recommend optimized material selections (PVC, CPVC, PP, PVDF, etc.) for demanding chemical, water treatment, life science, and semiconductor environments. Analyze designs, perform calculations, and collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to deliver custom solutions. Support proposals, quotations, and engineered assemblies that differentiate us in competitive markets.
- Project Execution & Problem Solving – Drive projects from technical concept through fabrication and delivery. Resolve field challenges, troubleshoot performance issues, and support failure analysis. Review BOMs, specifications, and fabrication processes to ensure technical and commercial alignment.
- Continuous Improvement – Influence product development and design-for-manufacturability initiatives. Identify cost-reduction opportunities in tooling and engineering processes. Provide feedback that strengthens product performance and market position.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Plastics Engineering, or related field. 3+ years in applications, product, or project engineering within plastics or industrial manufacturing. Deep knowledge of thermoplastics and fabrication processes (welding, machining, bending). Familiarity with ASTM, ASME, ANSI, NSF standards. CAD proficiency (Solid Works, AutoCAD). Experience in industrial sectors such as chemical processing, water treatment, life sciences, or semiconductor manufacturing. The ability to translate complex technical detail into confident, persuasive communication.
Travel up to 25%.

Compensation Transparency.Salary Range: $84,100.00 – $ per year Plus Bonus.
