Job Description
- Perform installation, modification, upgrade, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues using technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic tools.
- Maintain current records on equipment manufacturers’ technical notices, upgrades, and safety issues.
- Study equipment performance and reliability.
- Establish programs and solutions for increasing uptime and addressing equipment problems that affect the manufacturing process.
- Provide technical support to production operators and process engineering organizations.
- Define and write preventative maintenance schedules.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and cleanroom procedures.
- Technical or Military training in Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience in a related field.
- 10+ years of relevant equipment maintenance and repair experience; semiconductor manufacturing equipment preferred.
- Ability to interpret electrical and electronic schematics, mechanical drawings, piping diagrams, and flow charts.
- Experience in component‑level troubleshooting of analog and digital circuits.
- Experience soldering and desoldering components on printed circuit boards.
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing cable harnesses.
- Ability to test and evaluate electrical components such as transistors, diodes, resistors, and capacitors with an analog or digital multimeter.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to equipment safety and performance.

The hourly pay range for this position, which could be performed in the U.S., is $24.52 – $53.85, depending on location, skills, and experience.
