Responsibilities
• Evaluates industry, economic, financial, and market trends to forecast the organization’s short, medium and long-term financial and competitive position
• Utilizes historical data and works with all levels of the business to understand needs to accurately forecast future financial position
• Develops, updates, and manages financial forecasting models and regularly and effectively communicates changes, recommendations and issues to senior management as necessary
• Develops and maintains various monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports and ad hoc reports for management review and use, and assists with various reconciliations as needed
• Maintains detailed records of forecast outputs and inputs, processes, quantitative or qualitative models, meetings, approvals, or other items, as needed, for compliance or governance
• Recruits, trains, develops, coaches, and manages a team to ensure priorities and deliverables are met
- A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience.
- Ability to lead, coach, and develop team members
- Holds self and others accountable to achieving goals and standards
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment to handle multiple competing tasks and demands
- Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation
- Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results
- Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
- Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers
