CSO is looking for a Clinician to join our PACT team in Greenfield.

Program for Assertive Community Treatment (PACT) is an evidence-based intensive outpatient treatment program designed to assist adults overcome the barriers to their recovery from severe and persistent behavioral health disorders.

This position will provide clinical services in assessment, treatment planning, and coordination of care; provide treatment, rehabilitation and support services with the purpose of enhancing the emotional well-being, stability and social functions of program consumers.

You Will:
  • Provide individual and group therapy and psychoeducation in office and community settings
  • Assist with completion of intakes and facilitation of holding sessions/brief intervention services when needed
  • Propose, develop, recruit and conduct substance abuse, rehabilitation and treatment groups
  • Provide skills training and assistance in areas of daily living activities including basic living and interactive skills, providing "in vivo" skills training, side by side assistance, vocational and pre-vocational support to clients to include identifying interests and strengths and goals, and development of individualized placements. Assist in developing communication and conflict resolution skills
  • Provide motivational counseling, prompting, and intensive support to consumers during psychiatric crises or periods of transition
  • Provide education and support with identifying community resources including appropriate mental health, addiction and medical services, and accessing services of choice
  • Provide assistance with developing and maintaining a "natural support network" of family and friends
  • Provide crisis and intervention treatment services as members of mini-treatment team; work with team and individuals to minimize use of inpatient psychiatric treatment via rapid assessment and development of hospital diversion tactics to include medication assessment and treatment, increased intensity of services, and environmental adaptation as indicated
  • Provide stage specific individual and group substance abuse treatment to clients with coexisting substance use disorders; coordinate admissions to structured and safe environments such as hospitals, crisis stabilization beds, respite or detox units as indicated
Your Background:
  • Clinical Master's degree
  • Experience (preferred) in treatment of adults and/or families
  • Must be eligible for or hold highest level of Massachusetts' licensure in appropriate discipline
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
