Key Responsibilities of the Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse:
Provide expert, compassionate care to patients in emergent and critical conditions
Rapidly assess, triage, and stabilize patients presenting with diverse medical emergencies
Administer medications, perform interventions, and assist with advanced procedures
Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely, effective care
Operate and maintain emergency medical equipment safely and efficiently
Document patient assessments, treatments, and responses accurately in EMR systems
Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions
Requirements of the Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse:
Active RN license  (Massachusetts or compact state)
BLS, ACLS, PALS and TNCC certifications required
Minimum of 2 years of recent Emergency Department RN experience  in an acute care hospital
Comfortable with all cases inluding Pediatric
Strong critical thinking, triage, and communication skills
