Outpatient Rehab Client Representative

At Merrimack Health, we are committed to pay transparency and equity. The base salary range for this position is $17.33 – $25.99, excluding fringe benefits and potential bonuses.

Your final base salary will be determined based on your education, experience, licensure, and internal equity considerations. Offers are typically made below the top of the range to support future salary growth.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Outpatient Rehab Client Representative, Outpatient Rehab Marston Street. Per Diem Days and Evenings Lawrence

The Outpatient Rehab Client Representative is the first contact to the Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech Therapy Departments, whether it is greeting a person presenting at the reception desk or a caller on the phone. This individual is responsible for setting a professional, courteous and compassionate tone to ensure a positive customer experience. The representative registers the patient in Paragon by obtaining and accurately entering all personal, financial, and insurance data.

He/she must obtain all signatures necessary to treat the patient and bill their insurance.

The client representative performs a variety of secretarial and clerical duties in the Outpatient Rehab Department. This includes booking new patients, completing new patient registration, obtaining written physician orders for new patients, verifying patient insurance and co-pay, scheduling recurring appointments, checking in patients and alerting clinicians of patient arrival, collecting co-pays, and assisting the Administrative Coordinator with obtaining insurance Authorizations. The client representative also answers questions regarding therapy services available, and routes calls from patients, insurance adjustors, and physician offices to the appropriate staff members.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Graduate
  • Ability to follow oral and written communication.
  • Medical terminology, experience in hospital or related setting.
