Reporting directly to the Director of IT, the IT Manager manages four direct reports and serves as the operational backbone of the department. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on execution and accountability, not an executive or strategic authority position.

  • Identify skills gaps and recommend training or process improvements
  • Coordinate with third-party vendors, MSPs, and service providers
  • Track licenses, renewals, and support agreements
  • Ensure vendors meet operational and service expectations
Process & Documentation

  • Reduce reliance on tribal knowledge through documentation
  • Improve consistency and repeatability of IT service delivery
Operational Coverage

  • Escalate strategic, budgetary, or enterprise-level decisions as appropriate
  • Communicate clearly with business stakeholders regarding IT operations
Requirements

Required

  • 5–8 years of experience in IT operations, infrastructure, or systems administration
  • 2+ years of people management or team leadership experience
