Position: Senior Salesforce Quality Assurance Analyst (Hybrid)
AZAD Technology Partners is seeking a Senior Salesforce Quality Assurance Analyst (Hybrid) for a full-time, W2 Contract position based in Everett, MA.
The position is Onsite/Hybrid - Onsite 1 day per week.
The initial assignment length is an estimated 16-Months
Compensation is between $45.00 - $55.00 hourly DOE. Benefits include Co-paid Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance, Cafeteria Plan.
Position Summary:
The Salesforce quality assurance analyst will be responsible for all aspects of functional and performance testing for the Salesforce application used by the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. Manual testing will be the primary testing approach, though automated testing is required to improve efficiency. The successful candidate will work with the Salesforce project team to define, develop, execute, and automate test plans and test cases.
The software quality assurance analyst must be self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work on competing priorities under tight time frames.
The Candidate will work on the following initiatives and will perform Testing tasks such as:
Collaborate with development teams and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into comprehensive test cases and scenarios.Design and develop test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Salesforce applications, including customizations and integrations to ensure system requirements are met.Execute manual and automated tests to validate the functionality, performance, and security of Salesforce solutions.Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools such as JIRA.Perform regression testing to validate fixes and ensure that new enhancements do not adversely impact existing functionality.Review test results and evaluate for conformance to design.Serve as subject matter specialist providing testing know-how to make our software solutions defect-free when delivered.Provide regular status updates on testing progress, issues, and risks to your Project Manager to ensure timely delivery.Testing the application using sound engineering practices and employing solid Source Code Management practices.Software black box and white box testing, load testing, and integrated systems testing.Testing of database content and multiple interfaces, including SOA and Web Services.May be required to be available for standby duty and, if necessary, overtime hours to resolve critical system problems and/or perform production system maintenance as well as to respond to emergencies.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to continuously improve testing processes, tools, and methodologies.Contribute to the overall quality assurance strategy and participate in team meetings and knowledge-sharing sessions.Required Skills:
5+ years of experience as a software quality assurance specialist.In-depth knowledge of Salesforce platform features, configurations, and capabilities.At least 1 year of experience with web services APIs and complex data structures.At least 1 year of experience with COTS testing tools such as Silk, RFT, QTP, Selenium, or Load Runner.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills and a strong testing aptitude.Experience with Agile methodology.Experience with database testing and good understanding of SQL queries.Strong knowledge of software quality assurance best practices.Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Project life cycle experience in a structured development methodology.Preferred Skills:
Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree with a major in software engineering, computer science, or a related field.Experience in testing and evaluating vendor-supplied software.Experience dealing with performance bottlenecks and performance analysis.Ability to write complex SQL queries and development experience would be a plus.Experience related to educational standards, curriculum frameworks, and teaching applications would be a plus.Proven track record working on large-scale projects with diverse stakeholders and cross-functional teams.Ability to adjust to changing situations to address emergencies, program changes, or production requirements.Ability to exercise sound judgment and use discretion in handling confidential information.About Us:
