Applause is looking for astrategic Product Manager to join our team. In this role, you won't be handed a predefined roadmap. Instead, you'll be the driving force behind our product's direction, working closely with our engineering and customer operations teams to discover, define, and deliver solutions that solve real customer problems. Working closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, you will drive product adoption and play a key role in advancing our product strategy and roadmap.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the scoping and planning process for selected product development streams, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to define product requirements, features, and specifications.
- Oversee the end-to-end development lifecycle, working closely with Engineering and the business.
- Drive the adoption of released products, partnering with cross-functional teams to develop and execute comprehensive adoption strategies.
- Experience working with agile teams and rapid release cycles with an ability to balance and prioritize new feature requests to deliver customer value while considering technical challenges to ensure security and scalability best practices.
- Collect and analyze user feedback, market insights, and data to identify areas for product improvement, optimization, and innovation.
- Collaborate closely with Engineering to prioritize and manage complex product backlogs, aligning them with business goals and market demands.
- Act as a strategic bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and understanding of product requirements.
- Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies, incorporating them into product strategy and roadmap planning.
- Collaborate closely with the Customer Operations team to ensure smooth product implementation, adoption, and customer satisfaction.
Skills:
- 5+ years of experience in product management or related roles, with a proven track record of successfully scoping, overseeing development, and driving the release of products.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams and drive collaboration.
- Proven experience in driving product adoption and delivering exceptional user experiences.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas and requirements to diverse audiences.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, effectively managing multiple initiatives and priorities simultaneously.
- Deep understanding of the software development lifecycle and emerging technologies.
- Proactive and self-driven mindset, demonstrating a strong sense of ownership and initiative in achieving business objectives.
- Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, continuously learning and adapting to new challenges and opportunities.
