At Merrimack Health, we are committed to pay transparency and equity. The base salary range is $22.72 (Min) - $34.08 hourly (Max), excluding fringe benefits and potential bonuses.

Your final base salary will be determined based on your education, experience, licensure, and internal equity considerations. Offers are typically made below the top of the range to support future salary growth.

As the Help Desk Support Technician
, you will be responsible for supporting internal and external users who access Merrimack Health's Information Systems environment and its infrastructure. You must be able to assist in troubleshooting advanced level computer issues that may surface in a complex Health Care Enterprise environment. You will work directly with the end users, vendor support and internal IS resources to resolve OS, application and hardware related support issues and requests.
  • The ideal candidate must be exceptionally resourceful, persistent, and collaborative in their approach to problem-solving, troubleshooting and triaging computer hardware and software issues.
  • Must possess exceptional customer service skills in all methods of communication.
  • Good understanding of MS Office 365 suite of products
  • Familiar with Incident Management ticketing system
  • You should be versatile, reliable, and highly motivated.
  • Exceptional time management and multitasking skills are necessary.
  • Prior Tier1 Help Desk support in a medium-sized enterprise is a must.
  • The candidate must possess good troubleshooting skills to support computer hardware and software issues.
  • Should possess an understanding of basic network technologies.
  • Prior Health Care experiences a plus.
  • Understanding of Avaya Phone Systems a plus
  • Associate's degree in computer technology or minimum of 3 years Help Desk experience required.
