Director of Information Technology

Sky Bridge Luxury & Associates has partnered with a distinguished luxury beach resort in Massachusetts to identify an experienced Director of Information Technology to lead all aspects of the property's technology strategy, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and hospitality systems.

This executive leadership position is responsible for ensuring all technology platforms support exceptional guest experiences while delivering secure, reliable, and efficient operations throughout the resort. The Director of Information Technology will work closely with the Executive Committee and department leaders to oversee hotel applications, Food & Beverage technology, telecommunications, network infrastructure, cybersecurity, and enterprise systems.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in luxury hospitality technology
, with hands‑on experience supporting Agilysys PMS and Info Genesis POS
, along with the leadership skills necessary to guide the property's technology strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for all hotel technology operations and infrastructure.
• Oversee all property hardware, software, networking, telecommunications, audiovisual, and business applications.
• Administer, maintain, and optimize Agilysys PMS and Info Genesis POS while ensuring maximum system reliability and uptime.
• Partner closely with Food & Beverage leadership to support POS programming, menu management, reporting, interfaces, and operational enhancements.
• Manage all servers, wireless infrastructure, firewalls, switches, backups, storage solutions, and cloud‑based systems.
• Lead cybersecurity initiatives, PCI compliance, disaster recovery planning, and business continuity programs.
• Develop and manage annual IT operating and capital budgets.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend solutions that improve operational efficiency and elevate the guest experience.
• Manage relationships with technology vendors, service providers, and corporate partners.
• Support guest room technology, conference technology, digital signage, and resort‑wide connectivity.
• Provide executive‑level technical support while ensuring rapid response to operational issues.
• Recruit, mentor, and develop the Information Technology team while establishing exceptional internal service standards.
• Ensure all systems comply with brand standards, security protocols, and hospitality best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive Information Technology leadership experience within luxury hotels or resorts.
• Previous experience as a Director of Information Technology, IT Manager, or Regional Hospitality IT Leader preferred.
• Extensive experience supporting Agilysys PMS and Info Genesis POS within a hotel or resort environment.
• Strong understanding of:
• Hotel Property Management Systems
• Hospitality Point‑of‑Sale Systems
• Microsoft Windows Server
• Microsoft 365
• VMware
• Cisco, Aruba, or similar networking platforms
• Hospitality Wi‑Fi solutions
• Cybersecurity and PCI‑DSS compliance
• Cloud‑based technologies
• Experience supporting multiple Food & Beverage outlets, banquet operations, spa, golf, and resort amenities is highly preferred.
• Strong financial acumen with experience managing departmental budgets and technology capital projects.
• Exceptional communication and relationship‑building skills with the ability to partner effectively across all hotel departments.
