As we take on larger client accounts and manage sensitive digital products, security cannot be an afterthought. AM Digital Designs requires robust, enterprise-grade protection for our internal network, our proprietary software assets, and the web platforms we build and host for our clients. We are looking for a highly skilled Cybersecurity Specialist to serve on a retainer basis to audit, fortify, and monitor our infrastructure.

• Vulnerability Assessments: Conduct routine penetration testing, threat modeling, and vulnerability scans on our internal servers and client-facing web applications.
• Protocol Implementation: Configure and manage web application firewalls (WAF), enforce strict identity and access management (IAM) controls, and manage SSL/TLS encryption standards.
• Incident Response: Act as the crucial first line of defense during potential security anomalies, neutralizing threats, analyzing logs, and restoring secure backups if necessary.

• 6+ years of dedicated, specialized experience in network security, ethical hacking, or IT infrastructure management.
• Relevant, current industry certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH, CISM, or CompTIA Security+).
• Deep, practical knowledge of CMS security (specifically Word Press/PHP vulnerabilities) and modern cloud hosting architectures (AWS, Digital Ocean, Cloudflare).
• Ability to explain complex security threats in plain English to non-technical founders and clients.

• Experience setting up automated security pipelines (Dev Sec Ops ) alongside frontend developers.

Competitive hourly contract rates ($75-$120/hr) or a reliable monthly retainer to be negotiated based on scope, infrastructure scale, and availability.
