Opportunity Overview
Logistics Coordinator – Solar projects based on a construction site in Cottle County or Knox County, TX. This is a 1‑year contract assignment (W‑2) reporting to the Construction Manager Solar, Engineering and Construction. Requires a construction or material handling background or 2–3 years of related experience.
Your Day‑to‑Day- Record every module, inverter, and battery delivery to the vendor and upload the information into Unifier and the Daily Tracker daily.
- Meet with drivers to collect the Bill of Lading (BOL), sign, date, and upload it into Unifier daily.
- Use multiple reporting platforms on a daily basis—including Unifier uploads, Daily Tracker (DT), and the Logistics Coordinator Weekly Report.
- Identify potential changes in delivery schedules, offload workflow, and staffing issues due to weather, equipment, or other delays.
- Manage multiple phases of the logistics operation.
- Coordinate module, inverter, and battery deliveries.
- Perform CSV uploads to Unifier and the Daily Tracker.
- Upload and document BOLs with supporting pictures of deliveries and damages.
- Handle damaged modules, validate warranties, and submit warranty claims as applicable.
- Co‑ordinate recycling pickups and quote services.
- Communicate inter‑departmentally with ISC, EPC, site team, SMC, PM, and RM.
- Share safe off‑load and recovery plans, maintaining site delivery rules.
- Maintain safety standards and PPE compliance.
- Submit weekly logistics reports and ensure the site team understands SOPs.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 6+ years of relevant work experience.
- 2+ years of knowledge of Unifier or other reporting systems.
- Experience managing a team of up to five people.
- Estimated hourly rate: $55.00–$60.00, dependent on experience and qualifications.
