Overview

We are seeking an experienced Director of Talent Advising to support our Market Vice Presidents in our Field organization. This individual will need to think strategically, execute tactically, and collaborate across many teams, levels, and situations. The Director will partner with leaders in the Market and their peers in other Markets to provide guidance and execute consistently on a wide variety of people-related topics, programs, and initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in talent management, employee and manager coaching, HR operations, compensation and recognition, employee engagement, and learning and development.

Responsibilities
  • Strategic HR Consulting:
    Serve as a trusted advisor to Market Vice Presidents on a wide variety of people-related and organizational topics, including succession planning, leader and team member development, performance management, and talent and rewards planning.
  • Change Management:
    Partner with business teams to design and implement change management plans to support organizational change at the Market level.
  • Workforce Analytics:
    Understand the financial metrics of the markets you support and how those relate to HR and talent metrics. Use this data to drive improved performance, retention, and bench building.
  • Talent Planning:
    Develop an intimate understanding of leader performance and potential within your market. Influence Market Vice Presidents to embrace effective talent management and development processes, and help develop and implement tactical actions that align with business strategy, challenges, and initiatives.
  • Project Management:
    Design and implement multiple, concurrent projects working collaboratively with various COE partner teams in support of business and HR objectives that will impact team member experiences, growth, and retention.
  • Communication:
    Work intimately with your peers across the Field footprint to ensure consistent approaches and tools are used across the footprint, instead of Market specific programs, to drive business outcomes through talent practices.
  • In addition to the above, this individual will lead a team of 3-4 regional talent advisors that execute on the above items at a club and regional level.
Skills and Experience
  • 7-10 years of Human Resource or Talent Management experience supporting Field retail leaders at the Director level.
  • Functional HR expertise in the following areas: talent management, employee and manager coaching, HR program and process implementation, learning and development, compensation and recognition, and employee engagement.
