We are a leading player in the manufacturing industry, seeking a seasoned and licensed Boiler Operator to join our dynamic team. This is a permanent position, offering an excellent opportunity to contribute to our high-quality production process. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5+ years of experience in operating and maintaining boiler systems, with a particular focus on chillers, BPV, feedwater, and surge systems.
You will be a critical part of our operations, ensuring the smooth running of our boiler systems, contributing to the efficiency, safety, and productivity of our manufacturing process.
- Operating and maintaining boiler systems to meet production needs and to ensure efficient, safe, and reliable operations.
- Monitoring boiler operations, adjusting settings as necessary to maintain optimal operating conditions.
- Conducting regular inspections of boilers and associated equipment to identify and rectify any issues, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Performing routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting equipment.
- Managing and controlling the use of chillers, BPV, feedwater, and surge systems.
- Troubleshooting and resolving any technical issues that arise, minimizing downtime and maintaining production schedules.
- Documenting all boiler operations and maintenance activities, ensuring accurate records are kept for compliance and auditing purposes.
- Collaborating with other team members and departments to ensure seamless operations and to achieve production targets.
- Participating in training and development opportunities to keep up-to-date with industry developments and to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Boiler Operator in the manufacturing industry, with proven experience in operating and maintaining boiler systems.
- Extensive knowledge and experience with chillers, BPV, feedwater, and surge systems.
- A valid boiler operator license or certification as a class 1 or 2 fireman or class 3 engineer.
- Excellent technical skills, with a strong understanding of boiler operations and maintenance procedures.
- Good problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively.
- Strong attention to detail, ensuring all operations are carried out accurately and safely.
- Good communication skills, with the ability to work well in a team and to communicate effectively with other departments.
- A strong commitment to safety, ensuring all operations are carried out in compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
- The ability to work independently, managing your time effectively to meet production schedules and deadlines.
