Job Description
Microchip’s Discrete Products Group (DPG) has an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and experienced Senior Technician-Equipment. The right candidate will repair and maintain electro‑mechanical equipment used in the production semiconductor equipment, calibrate the equipment and PM, and asset systems or any other duties, as directed.
Requirements / Qualifications- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in metrology, calibration of manufacturing equipment.
- Ability to calibrate and perform repairs on test equipment and production equipment.
- Ability to organize and maintain a calibration system for calibration and preventive maintenance of equipment.
- Ability to work from schematics, mechanical drawings, or written instructions.
- Ability to interface with auditors.
- Experience in the use of multimeters, oscilloscopes, other test equipment for calibration, calibration standards, soldering irons and mechanical tools.
- Familiarity with ISO‑1725, MIL‑453662A desired.
- Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
- Ability to use MS Office.
- Ability to interface with parts or service vendors.
- Trade‑school or post‑high‑school certificate training in electronics desired.

Pay RangeThe hourly pay range for this position, which could be performed in the U.S., is $24.52 – $53.85.*
