Production Specialist

Microchip Technology Inc., through its Discrete and Integrated Solutions Group (DISG), offers a comprehensive portfolio of power and RF/microwave discrete semiconductor products. The DISG includes the Power Discrete & Modules BU and the RF/Microwave Discreet BU, serving markets such as alternative energy, industrial, medical, defense, commercial aviation, communications, embedded systems, motor control, power solutions, sensors, and security. The role is located in Lawrence, MA.

• Operate multiple die test stations (automated and manual) to ensure proper alignment and testing per die type.
• Monitor machine status and die quality with strong visual capability.
• Receive and verify documentation and test programs from the prior shift operator.
• Operate and multi‑task between 2–4 die test sorters.
• Maintain basic computer literacy and complete tasks using written procedures.
• Follow written and verbal procedures in English.
• Meet minimum quality and quantity standards.
• Maintain a very good attendance record.
• Work individually or as a team member in a fast‑paced environment.
• Apply job skills and adhere to company policies, practices, and procedures.

• Multi‑task while paying meticulous attention to detail.
• Prior success working individually and in a team environment.

• Excellent visual capability to work with extremely small dies without magnification devices.
• Excellent manual dexterity and patience for repetitive work.
• Experience using tweezers, vacuum pencils, etc.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.

The hourly pay range for this position is $17.00 – $27.00, depending on location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package includes competitive base pay, restricted stock units, quarterly bonuses, health benefits, retirement savings plans, and an industry leading ESPP program.
