Job Description:

As a Machine Operator 1 at company, the candidate will support Manufacturing Operations by operating automatic and semi-automatic machines used in the production process.
The role involves following process sheets and verbal/written instructions to manufacture parts according to specifications and quality standards.
Candidates will inspect finished products and ensure measurements meet predetermined tolerances while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

Main Responsibilities:

Operate automatic and semi-automatic production machines
Follow process sheets, written instructions, and supervisor directions to complete production tasks
Inspect finished products and verify measurements against required tolerances
Support manufacturing and production activities in a factory environment
Maintain accuracy and quality during machine operation
Use measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers when required
Read and interpret blueprints as needed
Maintain safety standards while working around mechanical and electrical equipment
Perform tasks involving standing, sitting, lifting, and positioning materials during production operations
Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding production status and issues
Assist with maintaining a clean and safe manufacturing workspace

Required Skills:

0 1 years of related manufacturing or production experience required
Basic reading, writing, addition, and subtraction skills
Ability to work Monday Friday schedule
Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Preferred Skills:

Ability to read and interpret blueprints
Experience using micrometers and calipers
Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred

Prolonged standing, sitting, and repetitive movements
Frequent lifting and positioning of objects up to 50 lbs.
Regular use of hands and coordination for machine operation
