Sanitation Manager
We’re partnering with a growing food manufacturing company that is looking for a hands-on Sanitation Supervisor to lead sanitation activities across the production facility.
This is a strong fit for someone with food manufacturing sanitation experience who knows how to lead a team, keep the plant clean and compliant, document daily work, and make sure sanitation procedures are followed the right way every time.
The ideal candidate is comfortable being on the floor, coaching employees, using a computer for reports and documentation, and stepping in wherever needed to support production and food safety.
What You’ll Be Doing- Lead daily sanitation activities across the production facility.
- Maintain cleanliness of production areas, equipment, tools, and work spaces.
- Oversee equipment cleaning, sanitizing, disassembly, and reassembly.
- Respond quickly to sanitation calls, contamination issues, and downtime concerns.
- Monitor sanitation standards and make sure procedures are followed consistently.
- Interview, onboard, coach, schedule, and support sanitation team members.
- Conduct performance reviews, annual reviews, and ongoing employee feedback.
- Complete daily reports, recaps, documentation, and sanitation records.
- Support safety, housekeeping, food safety, and quality programs.
- Identify sanitation issues, unsafe conditions, and non-conformities, then help correct them.
- Work with production and supervision to keep operations running safely and efficiently.
- Experience in food manufacturing sanitation
. - Prior experience leading, training, or supervising a sanitation team.
- Comfortable working primarily on 2nd shift
, with flexibility to support other shifts as needed. - Ability to use a computer for reports, recaps, schedules, and documentation
. - Strong understanding of cleaning, sanitizing, and food safety expectations.
- Ability to work independently and handle issues as they come up.
- Must be 18 years or older
. - Must have reliable transportation
. - Must be able to understand and speak English
. - Ability to work in a fast-paced, diverse production environment.
- Competitive salary of $62,000–$73,000+, depending on experience
