Asahi America, leading manufacturer of thermoplastic valves, piping systems, and specialty components, is looking for a dependable, hardworking individual to join their team as a Fabrication Technician in Lawrence, MA.

• Earn $21-$26 an hour based on your skills and experience as you work 7:00am-3:30pm Monday-Friday.

• Assist in the fabrication and assembly of plastic parts, tanks, piping systems, and cleanroom components using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
• Operate saws, routers, benders, drills, and plastic welding tools (hot gas, extrusion, etc.) to shape and join thermoplastics such as PVC, CPVC, PP, PVDF, and acrylic.
• Read and follow engineering drawings, blueprints, and work orders to ensure proper layout, dimensions, and fit.
• Support cleanroom fabrication processes including component prep, cleaning, and assembly within controlled environments.
• Assist with custom valve modification and kitting for customer orders.

• Perform in-process quality inspections using measuring tools (e.g., tape measure, calipers, squares) to ensure accuracy and conformance to specifications.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and adhere to ISO and cleanroom protocols to meet customer and regulatory standards.
• Use proper PPE when handling tools, materials, or chemicals.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with company safety policies and 5S/lean principles.
• Assist in packaging, labelling, and documenting finished products for inventory or shipment.

• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and improve quality.
• Identify and report fabrication or material issues to supervisors to support proactive problem-solving.
• Collaborate with peers and cross-functional teams (engineering, quality, warehouse) to support smooth production flow and resolve technical or material issues.
• Engage in training programs and skills development to support growth in fabrication expertise and cleanroom practices.
