BROAD FUNCTIONThe Events and Corporate Partnerships Manager at Lazarus House Ministries (LHM) is responsible for creating, managing, and executing several signature fundraising events each year within budget as well as building strategic corporate relationships that generate revenue, visibility, and community engagement. This role manages all aspects of event planning as well as corporate partnerships through stewardship and sponsorship development to support LHM's mission.
The Events and Corporate Partnerships Manager will also create and lead event planning committees, support volunteers to assist with events and maintain event and corporate partnership-related data. The salary range for this role is $60,000-$80,000 per annum, USD.
- Manage and execute pre-event, on-site, and post-event tasks to produce successful LHM events within budget.
- Create and maintain a project plan including timelines, budgets, planning, vendor contracts, and coordination for each event.
- In collaboration with the Manager of Marketing and Communication, create and publicize event planning calendar, marketing materials, social media posts, and strategies to maximize event attendance and engagement. Conduct market research into event industry trends.
- Solicit and procure auction items and maintain databases for assignment and dissemination of auction items on event-related websites.
- Assist with volunteer recruitment and train volunteers as needed, for various events from pre-to-post event.
- Manage event guests, emcees, entertainment, and other participants.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders and committee members to successfully execute events.
- Travel to event and other locations to coordinate planning prior to, day-of and post-execution of event activities.
- Evaluate, track and report on post-event outcomes, including comprehensive fundraising metrics and analysis and participant/sponsor feedback. Propose ideas to improve services and event quality.
- Identify, manage, and grow a portfolio of corporate donors, develop and cultivate sponsor relationships and stewardship plans to meet annual revenue goals.
- Create and promote sponsorship packages and customized partnership opportunities.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing sponsors to increase renewals and upgrades.
- Research and pursue new corporate prospects aligned with LHM's mission.
- Coordinate sponsor acknowledgement, benefits fulfillments, and reporting functions.
- Collaborate with leadership, development team members, and other stakeholders on corporate engagement strategies.
- Update event and sponsor related information in CRM/development-related software (Raiser's Edge) and event/fundraising management related software (such as Trellis, Luminate) as needed and maintain proficiency in any utilized software.
- Track and analyze event-related data utilizing Excel database to generate reports, collect data and lead to more informed decision-making regarding events.
- Assist with mailings, compile lists and proofread/edit documents as needed.
- Act as a member of LHM Employee Engagement Committee (EEC) and assist with EEC planning and logistics.
- Perform other duties as required.
- BA/BS in business, marketing, event planning, communications or a combination of education and experience.
- A minimum of four years’ experience in an event planning, fundraising, or corporate sponsorship environment is strongly preferred.
- Experience working on and with cross-functional teams, and the ability to collaborate effectively with all levels of an organization.

- Deadline-oriented individual with strong organizational and project management skills to manage multiple priorities within budget.
- Proven success securing corporate sponsorship and managing fundraising events.
- Self-motivated with a high degree of initiative and ability to complete independent work effectively and efficiently.
- Ability to work collaboratively and positively as a member of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic setting focused on achieving institutional fundraising goals.
- Strong research and problem-solving skills.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Maintains confidentiality and exercises sound judgement with information and situations requiring sensitivity, especially those involving donors and guests.
- Able and willing to work occasional evenings or weekends.
- Possess a current, valid driver's license and vehicle and willing to travel within the Greater Boston/Southern NH area.
