Registered Nurse School Setting in Lawrence, MA

Step into a rewarding contract nursing role serving K-12 schools in the Lawrence, MA region, supporting student health and well-being across several campuses. This full-time, onsite floater nurse position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact, providing vital coverage and care while engaging with a dynamic and collaborative educational community. Your weekdays will follow a consistent 8 AM to 4 PM schedule, covering 40 hours per week from August 17, 2026, through June 18, 2027.

In this role, you will:

• Travel between nearby school campuses (all within a 6-mile radius) to fill in as needed
• Deliver comprehensive health care services to students across grade levels K-12
• Assess, plan, deliver, and document nursing care according to school protocols and policies
• Respond to health emergencies and monitor ongoing care for chronic illnesses or injuries
• Collaborate with school staff, students, and families to promote a healthy and supportive environment
• Complete required documentation and participate in health education initiatives as needed

Ideal candidates bring:

• Current, active Massachusetts licensure as an LPN or RN
• Prior experience working in a school-based setting
• Comfortable adapting to new environments and meeting varied health care needs
• Reliable transportation for daily travel between school campuses
• Willingness to undergo fingerprinting and CORI background check
• Commitment to the required 8 AM–4 PM schedule, with no accommodations possible
• Ability to interview via Zoom
