Sales Manager

As a Large Projects Account Manager, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for the sales of Electrical products throughout the Massachusetts area with a focus on contractor sales, in line with the division strategy. Each day, you will achieve both qualitative and quantitative sales targets to ensure sustainable order growth, revenues, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction. You will also showcase your expertise by identifying and developing new sales opportunities.

This is a hybrid position based out of the Quincy, MA office.

• Communicating to the customers about details related to delivery time, payments, and general terms and conditions, in line with ABB's offering and strategy.

• Ensuring efficient marketing activities and communicates value proposition to customers.

• Identifying and driving the development of new market opportunities in the designated market.

• Managing administrative procedures in sales processes and supports cash collection and project management activities, when needed.

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in engineering, with 4+ years of experience in the electrical industry. Candidates without a degree but with commensurate experience will also be considered.

• Experience / knowledge of ABB products, equipment, or service offerings strongly preferred.

• Experience selling to electrical contractors in the local territory required.

• Strong project coordination and influencing skills

• Customer-focused mindset with proven ability to respond quickly to customer needs as well as strong oral, written communication skills and presentation skills

• Knowledge of customer financial drivers / needs

• Ability to utilize analytical software and sales tools
